Starcross, Devon

Starcross is a small station that is served by local trains only. In summer there is a regular passenger ferry service across the Exe estuary to and from Exmouth, something I have never done, but ought to do one day. Another point of interest is the Brunel pumping station, a remnant from the old atmospheric railway that turned out to be a bit of failure. This building stands between the railway and road to Dawlish, on the Dawlish side, and is used, I believe, by a local sailing club.
