Slough, & Windsor branch

With grandparents living in Burnham, Slough was very familiar to me as the closest town although we tended not to visit it often. But occasionally a day out to Windsor by train would be taken, following in the footsteps, so to speak, of Queen Victoria. So a short hop from Burnham to Slough, and then the connecting short trip up to Windsor, was done many times over the years of my youth!
