Ravenstruther , near Carstairs, South Lanarkshire

I had to be taken to this viewing point as you would never find it yourself that easily. The coal loading terminal dispatched open-mined coal to the Yorkshire power stations on a daily basis, but all of this has now ceased. One thing I did learn - the pronunciation of this small village just outside of Carstairs. Not how it's spelt, but spoken as "Renstrie"!
