The east end of the station possesses two bay platforms. At 07.50 Northern Class 150/1 no. 150123 is in platform 6. It worked in on 2D40 06.06 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester and will return on the 2H34 07.56 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly.
