This is what a busy time on the tramway looks like! 16.55 at Seaton Wetlands and tram nos. 12 and 9 crossover one their respective services between Colyton and Seaton. The sprung trailing turnouts allow automatic operation without signalling. I am not sure what the system is for despatching trams but I am guessing that the onus is on tram drivers to observe operations and look out for other trams!
