At 17.30 Southern Railway Class 313 unit no. 313212 heads away from Bosham station on the 16.59 Portsmouth to Littlehampton service. Writing this as I am in May 2023 the Class 313s have just been/about to be taken out of service. One of the oldest trains operating passenger services in the UK these units are one of the final links to the old BR. On the horizon the spire of Chichester cathedral can be spotted.
