On shed at Haworth is preserved Class 08/9 no. 08993 "Ashburnham" The EWS-liveried shunter is one of those modified to work over the Burry, Porth & Gwendreath route in South Wales, where low bridge clearances dictated the requirement for low-profile locomotives. Hence this one's somewhat squat appearance!
