Inter City-liveried Class 86/2 no. 86256 "Pebble Mill" is resting between duties just outside of the gloom that is Birmingham New Street station. Pebble Mill? The local TV studios! Really? Named after that? Almost as bad as "Top of the Pops"!

After working with Virgin West Coast no. 86256 went for scrap in 2006.
