This up BR railfreight Speedlink train is hauled by large-logo Class 47 no. 47603 "County of Somerset". The power is on as the "Duff" heads north east with three PCA 4-wheeled PCA cement tanks and a string of Cargo wagons (probably carrying bagged and palletised china clay or cement).
Named at Taunton in August 1985, 47603 went on to be converted for Rail Express Systems as their no. 47745, eventually being scrapped at Toton in 2004.
