33109 "Captain Bill Smith" is alive and well in preservation at the East Lancashire Railway. Here it is in everyday revenue service, wearing its all-over grey livery. The "Bagpipe" passes at 15.46 on the 6O68 14.46 Temple Mills to Hoo Junction engineers service. Beyond the signal box, on the lower level, Stewarts Lane TMD houses a few more Class 33s.
