West of the station, at Colesworth, NSE Class 47 no. 47707 "Holyrood" accelerates away from the station with the 13.15 London Waterloo to Exeter St. Davids service. The overcast sky is perhaps a disappointing reminder that although it may be summer there is no guarantee of sunshine!
