BR Derby-built Class 116 DMU set no. C399 arrives at the station past the wonderful ex-GWR signal gantries. The one on the right includes a route indicator, and I recall seeing a few of these at Exeter St. Davids when I was trainspotting. They were very helpful in giving you some warning of the destination of a train where there were multiple routes possible. The DMU is arriving empty, to work the 14.15 Radyr to Coryton service.
