Built by the Maryport and Carlisle Railway, the waiting room on the north platform is framed here by the lattice footbridge. According to a notice on the building there is, or was, a Friends of Dalston Station group, but sadly I think they have abandoned the station as the waiting roof was looking a little neglected.
