25th Oct 2017 - Ivybridge, Devon
Colas Rail 70816 heads the 6C35 05.25 Aberthaw to Moorswater Tarmac Cement train across Blatchford Viaduct, a train made up of 4-wheeled TTA tank wagons. This is a long lens view from the roadside near Fardell, Ivybridge, not my plan for this train, but the best I could manage.

Blatchford Viaduct is a 12 span structure opened in 1893, replacing one of Brunels' earlier stone and wooden viaducts of the South Devon Railway. The stone piers of the first viaduct remain alongside, although not visible in this shot.
