Northallerton to Thirsk - East Coast Main Line

There was only ever one station between Thirsk and Northallerton, at Otterington (in the village of South Otterington), and this closed in 1958. Nevertheless, I've managed to find a few photo locations here, although I have not seen evidence of many shots being taken on this stretch of line by anyone else. Being quite flat and straight I guess it's not too challenging, for trains or photographers.
