Columbia River Gorge (BNSF), WA

An amazing location to experience the magnificence of Mother Nature, and of the railroad builders of the 19th century! The BNSF hugs the northern bank, which is situated in Washington State, and the UP is over the water on the south bank, and in Oregon. My first visit took me as far as Wishram, and was slightly marred by hazy atmospheric conditions, caused by huge forest fires up in Canada. But despite that the experience was worth it!
