Mid morning at Gainsborough Lea Road station, and 31418, unofficially named "Boadicea", stands with a ballast train, waiting for the road. A Class 142 "Pacer" will arrive and depart but even by the time I leave it still hadn't moved. This "skinhead" Class 31 is preserved, currently under restoration at the Midland Railway Centre.
