30th Sept 2007 - Pinhoe, Devon
Track replacement work at St. James Park has brought a number of engineer's trains to the old Southern route. Here EWS Class 66 no. 66178 has a short train of "Salmon" bogie flats, likely to be loaded with the used track panels. In the distance Class 60 no. 60100 "Pride of Acton" is standing with its own train of spoil wagons. This is the most easterly extent of the engineering works.
