Late afternoon, at 16.51, this westbound intermodal shoots through one of the old signal bridges soon to be replaced. In fact, there was evidence of other bridges having recently been dismantled and left to the side of the tracks. And here you can see an old telegraph pole from a pole lines long gone, just laying in the dust in the foreground. BNSF Dash9-44CW no. 4786 leads Santa Fe war bonnet no. 832 (Dash8-4CW) and a couple more Dash9-44CWs, nos. 1012 and 779.
