15th Aug 2013 - Chichester, West Sussex
The weekly stone train from Somerset is being unloaded in the yard at Chichester at 08.15 by single Komatsu excavator, the operator of which was extremely skilful. Watching the way that the stone was removed was quite fascinating, requiring some serious concentration, an example of man and machine in harmony! Class 59 no. 59201 is wearing a newly-applied DB Schenker livery, one of the first locomotives to be so-adorned. You can see just how clean the engine is! The train arrived about half an hour earlier as the 7O52 (MSX) 02.52 Whatley Quarry to Chichester.
