Central pacific no. 60 "Jupiter". A classic American 4-4-0 with balloon-shaped smoke stack. These locomotives burn wood. This, and no. 119, were built in California in 1979 by an associate company of the Walt Disney Corporation. The original locomotives were both scrapped during the first decade of the 20th century, and few plans existed, so building replicas required skilled draughtsmen to create the blue prints from which the locomotives were constructed. The fascinating story of how they weer built can be found in the July 2019 issue of Railfan and Railroad Magazine.
